# Modern Slavery and Human Rights Policy

### Purpose

AIC is committed to acting ethically and with integrity.

Modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, child labour and exploitation have no place in AIC operations or supply chains.

### Policy Statement

AIC has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human rights abuse.

This applies to:

* employees
* contractors
* subcontractors
* suppliers
* partners
* recruitment routes
* project delivery
* supply chains

### Modern Slavery Risks

Modern slavery may include:

* forced labour
* bonded labour
* human trafficking
* child labour
* debt bondage
* coercive recruitment
* withholding identity documents
* abusive working conditions
* exploitation of vulnerable workers

### Supplier Expectations

Suppliers and subcontractors must:

* comply with applicable law
* avoid forced or exploitative labour
* treat workers fairly
* maintain lawful recruitment practices
* avoid abusive employment practices
* cooperate with due diligence where required
* report suspected modern slavery risks

### Due Diligence

AIC may conduct supplier due diligence based on risk.

This may include checking:

* supplier location
* type of work
* labour intensity
* subcontracting chain
* previous concerns
* policy evidence
* contractual commitments

### Reporting Concerns

Concerns about modern slavery or exploitation should be escalated to a company director, commercial lead or appropriate senior representative.

Where appropriate, AIC may report concerns to relevant authorities.

### Action

Where modern slavery risk is identified, AIC may:

* investigate
* suspend supplier engagement
* require remediation
* terminate contracts
* notify customers
* report to authorities
* review procurement controls

### Review

This policy should be reviewed periodically and updated as business and supply chain risks evolve.
